Beginning of the End is an award winning short film of a man who finds himself in a world where everyone has disappeared. As he tries desperately to find answers and any signs of others, he leaves behind a message in hopes of someone finding it. During the height of the pandemic (2020), I decided to shoot my first short film. The pandemic and social distancing really left a lot of people feeling isolated and alone, myself included. This feeling of being so isolated, really inspired me to make this film. I worked solo on every scene and really had to plan ahead and figure out the best ways to work around being by myself. It took weeks of scouting areas and planning shots. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I shot this with my Panasonic S1H and Sigma Art Primes (25f/1.4 & 50f/1.4), along with my Mavic 2 Pro. I shot this in 5.9k ProRes Raw and h.265 for the drone shots. I color graded using 55media LUTs for Lumix S and DJI Mavic 2 Pro. www.fatheadmediapro.com @fatheadmediapro
