GA Runoff Meets GA History
King Williams introduces his show concept. He discusses how Atlanta intersects with the world in the Senate vote runoff. He takes a hard look at history and the impact on today’s voting, from the Jim Crow laws restricting Black voters to 2019 initiatives to change the commission seats regionally.
King is currently working on a revamp of my documentary film 'The Atlanta Way: A Documentary on Gentrification.' He is an Associate Producer on the 2020 documentary on East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story, and author of Living Walls a history of the Atlanta street art movement from the arts organization Living Walls.
